Kehwa tea leaves are whole green tea leaves that look like this-

We got them when we were on a trip in Kerala. I am sure they are available almost everywhere. The packet said Kerala Green Tea. The same leaves can be used to make Lemon tea.

To make Kehwa, boil 1 Tsp tea leaves in 2.5 cups of water with the cardamom and cinnamon for about 5-8 minutes. Strain the tea and add sugar as needed. Top off with some crushed almonds and the saffron strands. Serve hot.
